3 Steps to Pain Relief

Calm down the nervous system

This vital initial phase unlocks the protective muscle guarding associated with nerve compression. Unhappy nerves are associated with tightness, irritability and general aching. We are experts at finding and releasing these syndromes.

Myofascial bodywork to restore muscle balance

The second phase of returning to full pain-free function is mobilisation and balancing of the muscular, myofascial meridian system. As described by Tom Myers’ Anatomy Trains concept, these meridians are the key to postural efficiency.

Functional strength and mobility training

The final phase of pain relief is regaining strength, mobility and coordination in the gym. From bone density to disc bulges, we can introduce you to scientific exercise methods suited to your problems.

Physiotherapy is beneficial for pain management, mobility, strength and postural support during pregnancy. It can also maintain your pelvic floor health by strengthening your pelvic floor muscles. Plus, we can provide breathing techniques, posture adjustments and core strengthening exercises that will make labour more manageable.
